Rare Beauty has released a new product line that pairs Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato for a joint marketing campaign.

The collection, titled The Delena: Soft Pinch Blush Bundle, is now available for purchase on the Rare Beauty website. Each bundle contains two items: a Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and a Soft Pinch Blush Brush. The liquid blush comes in two specific shades designated by the stars. Gomez selected the shade named Hope, while Lovato chose the shade named Virtue. The brand’s campaign is titled “Still Making Each Other Blush.”

The name Delena serves as a reference to the nickname fans assigned to the pair during their early careers. The two met as child actors on the set of Barney & Friends. They subsequently starred in Disney Channel productions, including Wizards of Waverly Place and Camp Rock. Their association with the label peaked in the late 2000s, a period when they frequently described themselves as best friends. The current campaign visually references their 2009 Disney Channel Original Movie, Princess Protection Program. In that film, the actresses played a princess fleeing her country and a local girl tasked with hiding her identity.

To promote the release, the duo filmed a four-minute video clip that mimics the style of the YouTube vlogs they produced together in 2008. In the footage, they answer audience questions and perform their signature red carpet pose. They also lip-sync and dance to the song One and the Same, which they recorded for the Princess Protection Program soundtrack. Gomez recalled the music video shoot for that track, stating, “I felt like that was our moment when we felt like Avril Lavigne. We were so into it.” Lovato added, “And Kelly Clarkson. Always Kelly Clarkson.”

The collaboration marks a public reconciliation for the two performers. Lovato told Harper’s Bazaar in May 2020 that she and Gomez were no longer close. She said, “When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have love for them. But I’m not friends with her…” The first public sign of their reconnection occurred in April 2026, when Gomez attended an Orlando concert on Lovato’s It’s Not That Deep Tour. Lovato explained the current dynamic in an interview with Elle. She noted, “There have been different chapters throughout our lives, and naturally, friends are in each other’s lives heavily at times, and then sometimes you’re not in constant communication. But Selena is someone that I’ve always loved and adored. It’s really great to be in a place today where we can collaborate on things, but also just hang out and spend time together.”

The bundle is currently listed on the Rare Beauty website. The product includes the two specific liquid blush shades and the accompanying brush. The campaign video is available online. The release coincides with the ten-year anniversary of the original Princess Protection Program film.
